Hopkinton Animal Shelter Opens Registration for Paws and Claws 5K

Registration opened this week for the Hopkinton animal shelter's annual Paws and Claws 5K fundraiser run, according to the MetroWest Daily News, while Hopkinton Public Library rolled out a run of children's and teen programs for the week ahead alongside several cancellations.

Hopkinton Public Library set a slate of programs for the days ahead. Kids can join "Unplugged Coding for Kids" on Monday, Aug. 24, from 3 to 4 p.m. in the Children's Programming Room, followed by Baby & Toddler Storytime on Tuesday, Aug. 25, from 10 to 10:45 a.m. The library's Board of Trustees meets Tuesday, Aug. 25, at 6 p.m. in the Ellsworth Conference Room.

Three sessions were called off this week: Drop-In CreatorSpace Hours on Aug. 24, the 250th National Treasures Book Group on Aug. 25, and the D20's D&D Campaign for ages 18 to 25 on Aug. 26, all at the library.
