Hopkinton DPW Schedules Water Main Work on Hayden Rowe Street

The Hopkinton Department of Public Works has scheduled water main work on Hayden Rowe Street to begin at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 18, according to a notice posted to the town's website Monday. The town's alert did not detail the scope or expected duration of the work; residents near the corridor are advised to watch the town's website for further updates.

Hopkinton Public Library is marking the town's 250th anniversary with a CreatorSpace workshop on building a punched tin candle holder, set for Tuesday, Aug. 18, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. The following evening, the library's Betty Strong Room hosts "America Is Wild! An Interactive Wildlife Adventure for Kids" from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 19.
