Hopkinton home sale tops $1.9 million as 20 deeds record in four weeks

Twenty properties sold in Hopkinton between July 10 and Aug. 8, according to registry of deeds filings. Fifteen sales disclosed a price, ranging from $617,500 to $1,955,000, with a median of $978,000. The month's top sale was 14 Oak St, which went for $1,955,000 to Saket Subhash Mengle and Sharvari Bhurke Mengle. Waterville Lane, Spruce Street and Hayden Rowe Street each saw two transactions. Five sales, all transfers within the same family or into a family trust, listed no price. The volume of filings points to steady turnover in Hopkinton's housing market for the period, though a quarter of all deeds carried no disclosed consideration.
