Longtime Hopkinton Resident David Dockstader Dies at 81

HOPKINTON — David Dockstader, 81, a longtime Hopkinton resident, died August 15 at home following a battle with pancreatic cancer, according to a MetroWest Daily News obituary published this week.

The Hopkinton Public Library has a full slate of programming Wednesday, August 19: Music and Movement runs from 10:30 to 11:15 a.m. in the Betty Strong Room, followed by "America is Wild! An Interactive Wildlife Adventure for Kids" from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. in the same room. Teens and young adults can join Dungeons & Dragons sessions from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., with the Teen Room hosting a youth group and the Ellsworth Conference Room hosting an 18-to-25 campaign.
