HOPKINTON -- Youth basketball is stirring back to life in town as one league moves toward tryouts for its next season.

YOUTH LEAGUES -- The Hopkinton Basketball Association has opened registration for 2026-27 travel basketball tryouts, according to the organization's website. HBA is a volunteer-run nonprofit that fields boys' and girls' travel teams in grades 4 through 8 for the Metrowest Basketball League and also runs an in-town program for players from kindergarten through high school. The announcement comes on the heels of the club's run as Metrowest League champions, which the organization continues to spotlight on its site alongside a link to full playoff results.
