Hopkinton Basketball Association sets a Sept. 11 pre-tryout clinic as Hopkinton Youth Soccer rolls out its fall travel evaluation schedule.

HOPKINTON -- Two of the town's largest youth sports organizations posted new season details this week.

YOUTH LEAGUES -- The Hopkinton Basketball Association, which is already accepting registration for 2026-27 travel tryouts, added a new date to its calendar: a Pre-Tryout Clinic and Parent Info Night set for Sept. 11 at Brown Gym, according to the volunteer-run nonprofit's website. The organization runs teams for boys and girls in grades 4 through 8 in the Metrowest Basketball League as well as an in-town program from kindergarten through high school.

Hopkinton Youth Soccer announced its Travel Soccer Evaluation Schedule for 2026, inviting players in grades 3 through 8 who want to join the Travel Soccer Program for Fall 2026 and/or Spring 2027. The club was explicit about the format: "These are NOT tryouts, they are independent evaluations. There are no 'cuts' and all players that register will be placed on a travel team," the organization said on its website.

Hopkinton Youth Soccer also promoted its Revs Academy Fall 2026 Clinics at Fruit Street, with coaches from the New England Revolution Academy leading sessions described as teaching "basic and more advanced skills, while boosting players' confidence on the field," per the club, which asked families to register through their Adminsports accounts.
