HOPKINTON — Planning Board approved a scenic road permit to rebuild a truck-damaged Winter Street stone wall. The board voted 5-0 for Christine Waldman's repair of about 80 feet of three-foot-high wall at 24 Winter Street, where an 18-wheeler dismantled a 15-foot section. Principal Planner Aneri Patel said the Conservation Commission raised no objection.
Waldman said she wants to "make it safe again." Conditions require reusing original stones and submitting photographs of the finished work. The board also continued hearings on Nicholas D'Angelo's 12 Maple Street Extension lot split, which needs a special permit and frontage waiver, to July 20 after setting a July 18 site walk. It extended the 55 Wilson Street Eversource decision deadline to Aug. 3.
