The Hopkinton Public Library will host a family drive-in movie showing of "Cars" on Saturday, Aug. 22, from 2 to 4:30 p.m. in the Betty Strong Room, the library's large event space. The screening is part of the library's ongoing slate of family programming even as its lower level remains slated to close later this month for a carpet replacement project.
COMING UP
The library has drop-in family activities scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 22, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Children's Department. On Monday, Aug. 24, the library offers Unplugged Coding for Kids from 3 to 4 p.m. in the Children's Programming Room.
At Hopkinton High School, ninth grade orientation is set for Wednesday, Aug. 26, followed by international student orientation and transfer student orientation on Thursday, Aug. 27, according to the district calendar.
