HOPKINTON — The Conservation Commission closed and reissued its 30 West Main Street enforcement order. Members voted 6-0 to have Conservation Administrator Judy Day write a new order requiring a replacement planting plan by Nov. 24 and keeping weekly erosion-control reports. Applicant representative Sam Alfronti of Soli Engineering had sought monthly inspections.

An arborist found one 22-inch white pine unlikely to survive long term, and members asked for at least two replacement trees. Ted Barker-Hook said earlier violations came from "shocking carelessness." The commission also continued a request to remove a second pine, estimated at 24 to 36 inches across, until the plan is submitted. Members also approved removal of two poplars at 21 Hearthstone Road.
